CampBx has it’s head quarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, and I thought I would try exchanging USD for bitcoins with them, after my unsuccessful attempt with BitInstant.
There are several options for transferring money into CampBx that include money orders, Dwolla transfers, or with a personal check. All of those options are free and a commission is charged when a trade/exchange is executed. I decided to go with a money order, since I didn’t want to reveal my bank information. I sent in the funds from a post office and was happy to know of the guarantee that comes with using the money order. I have the option to get reimbursed after 2 months if something goes wrong with shipping it to CampBx.
After waiting a week and a half, the funds finally arrive. I didn’t get an email notifying me of this, but I checked just before sending another email to their support team.
